We are excited to celebrate a significant milestone: Sumic IT Solutions Ltd has now trained over 200 interns from universities and tertiary institutions across Uganda. This achievement is a testament to our unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and capacity building in the African tech sector.
Our internship program was designed from the ground up to give students real, practical experience — not just theoretical exposure. Interns at Sumic work on live projects, receive dedicated mentorship from senior professionals, and gain exposure to international clients and partners in Japan, Europe, and across Africa.
Several of these interns have since joined Sumic as full-time staff members, while others have gone on to found their own tech ventures, contribute to other companies in Uganda's growing tech ecosystem, or pursue advanced studies in technology and business.
